It’s been a long weekend for me and with the sun shine, my link review of fellow bloggers was delayed …
The markets were sliding most of last week on both side of the border. I am patiently watching when will be a good time to take a position in a couple of accounts. My current investments are holding up pretty well and it’s nice to see. The hardest hit is Royal Bank of Canada (RY) since I took a position. There may come a time when I will add to the position but I am simply watching for now and amassing the dividends.
I would like to highlight a fellow blogger’s first eBook on dividend investing. Mike and his partner run a set of blogs such as The Financial Blogger, The Intelligent Speculator and The Dividend Guy Blog. The dividend eBook is one of their first eBook to be released, click here to download it from The Dividend Guy Blog. If you are new to dividend investing, it should be a good read with good information. If you are experienced but are looking for information, Mike shares some sites for resources. I would like to thank Mike for highlighting my blog as one such resource.

Thanks for the mention, it’s good to finally be able to enjoy some sunshine on the weekends.
Thanks for including me! I hope your Canucks close out strong.
Thanx for the mention PIE
The weather has been great until the last couple of days!
Royal Bank (RY-T) is a core holding for me, I am patiently watching and waiting to buy more near the bottom
There are many opportunities to top-up holdings, but I think one has to have patience, there is still room for more declines. And of course one must also have cash (or margin) to purchase with
Thanks for the mention! I think it’s a pretty common question to ask: should I pay extra on the mortgage or put the extra money into the stock market? This article has already proven to be helpful!
